“Oops, I Did It Again…”

Port Washington, NY April 19, 2004 -– It’s happened to us all. One quiet evening, you break out the home hair color kit and get busy becoming a blonde, brunette or redhead. Try as you might, the dye always seems to end up on your forehead, behind your ears, on your favorite Juicy tee and on the bathroom carpet. Don’t you wish there was a simple concoction that could take the mess out of home hair coloring?

Your prayers have been answered…

Introducing Tweezerman’s Stain Gone, a dual purpose, professional salon formula that prevents and removes hair color stains.

Stain Gone works as a hair color stain barrier and stain remover that can be used safely on skin, nails, clothing and counter tops. It is water-activated and can be used prior to hair coloring to protect the hairline from staining or used post-hair coloring to eliminate any dye mishaps. It is also useful in removing ink, blood, food, wine, makeup and other stains. Use it before and after coloring hair for stain-free, no-mess coloring every time.

To remove dye from skin, apply Stain Gone with fingertips to hairline BEFORE hair coloring to prevent stains. Color hair as usual. After color process is complete and hair has been rinsed, reapply Stain Gone to any residual stains on skin. Wet cloth and wipe off immediately.

For clothing, Stain Gone works best when used immediately. Wet stain with cold water, apply Stain Gone and gently agitate, blot with wet towel or rinse under cold water. For stubborn stains on clothing, Stain Gone can remain on stain overnight before rinsing.

To remove dye from counter tops, simply add Stain Gone to a wet cloth, wipe clean and reapply if needed.

Tweezerman’s Stain Gone has a suggested retail price of $4.00 (for a 1 ounce bottle) and is currently available at CVS locations nationwide. To find your nearest CVS, call 1-888-88PLUCK or visit www.tweezerman.com.
