StylezoneTV does it again!! 2 days hands on makeup workshops taught by Sharon Gault for beginners and intermediate students took place on October 25 and 26 at the Downtown Standard Hotel, as Fashion Week fast approached. Students were actually able to “test” on models with Sharon for the Ashley Paige and Jenni Kayne runway shows, whilst being treated to surprise guests, Co-Producers, Tracie Mae and Michael Holdoway along with Celebrity Fashion Stylist Mike Sam, who was styling for the Luis Verdad show. Students were able to practise the looks created by Sharon Gault for these shows on real models with some of the clothes from the runway shows for Imitation of Christ, Luis Verdad and Ashley Paige. Surprise guest, Tobi Britton of the Makeup Shop NY, was specially flown in by the StylezoneTV team to teach airbrushing on Sunday. Meanwhile three photographers raced against the clock each day to photograph 14 models from LA Models and Next agencies, providing students with excellent shots for their portfolios.

Students from Phase I and Phase III of the StylezoneTV hands on 2 day makeup workshops were then lucky enough to find themselves assisting last minute backstage with Celebrity Makeup Artist Sharon Gault at two of the shows during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, LA.

Students Phylis Robey and Joyce Castaneda from Phase I LA Workshops, joined students, Nesrin Ismayil, Lynette Hung, Anita Smith, Tina Quintana, Jamayka Hamilton, Rebecca Plymate (Paul Mitchell – The School) and others from Phase III workshops.

Students worked with the Cosmetics teams, lead by Creative Director Sharon Gault (key Makeup Brandy Adams) for Tony & Tina for the Ashley Paige Show and Key Makeup for the NARS team lead by Uzo Ukaeje for the Jenni Kayne Show. The Hair for Ashley Paige was by Key Hairstylist Carla Gentile for the Steam salon, and key hair for Jenni Kayne was provided by Leanne Bilton.

These students from Phase III then joined other Phase I and III students Ilona Velez (MUD) and Michelle Bernabe, Haruyo Sawada and Raymond Filipowitz and assisted the Tony and Tina Cosmetics team, sponsors of the StylezoneTV workshops at the Spotlight Humane fashion show on Sunday at the Palladium featuring Su Wong, Bao Tranchi, and others (see attached Press Release).
